Portable appliance testing or PAT as its often referred to as PAT Testing
This is not a legal requirement contra to public belief, but under the electricity at work regulations you have a duty of care to make sure any appliance and employee or member of the public has use of is safe for use. one of the acceptable ways is to have you appliance regular tested as refed to as PAT Testing.
